Kitchen - Induction Hob

Edited

Induction hobs are designed to heat only when a compatible pan is placed on them, providing a safer cooking environment. Follow the steps outlined below to maximize your cooking experience.

1. Turning On the Hob

To activate your induction hob, locate the "on" button, which is represented by a simple dot. Place your finger on this button to turn on the hob.

2. Unlocking the Hob

If the display shows "LO," indicating that the hob is locked, you will need to unlock it. To do this, place and hold your finger on the small key icon until the hob is unlocked.

3. Selecting a Cooking Zone

Once the hob is unlocked, or if it was already unlocked, you can select the cooking zone you wish to use. Simply press on the desired cooking zone (e.g., the top one) to activate it.

4. Adjusting Heat Level

To adjust the heat level of the selected cooking zone, use the "plus" (+) button to increase the heat and the "minus" (-) button to decrease it. The chosen cooking zone will turn on once the heat level is set.

5. Using Multiple Cooking Zones

If you wish to use another cooking zone, press on it again and adjust the heat using the "plus" or "minus" buttons as needed.

6. Understanding Induction Technology

Induction hobs operate using advanced technology that prevents them from getting hot to the touch directly. They only function when a compatible pan is placed on top, as they require the metal of the pan to detect heat. If you encounter an error message, it is likely due to the absence of a pan on the cooking zone.

7. Turning Off the Hob

After you have finished cooking, ensure that you press the "off" button to turn off the hob completely.
